Going to Storybrooke by Me
For part of my French final exam, I had to write a story about me going somewhere. And I decided to write it on my sister and I going to Storybrooke. With gifs! Yay! (my French isn't amazing, or fluent, so if you speak French, or know French better than me, don't judge. lol)
Right, back to helping Tony Stark with some science thing, it's been pretty quiet around here. No epic fights yet...just school....Bleh.

R.I.P Marvel
My fish, Marvel (the orange one), died today.
I only had him a week, but I'm glad I was able to give him a good home in his last moments! Symbiote was a good fish friend to the very end! When Marvel sank to the bottom of the tank and just laid there, Symbiote would come and lay right next to him. Now Symbiote is just swimming around the tank, wondering where his friend has gone. But Marvel is in a better place now!

Feminism: In a girl's POV
We're about to get deep today guys...hang on to your computer chairs. (or your mobile device, whatever)
I came across an article by an awesome blogger. You can read it here. And I agree with everything he has to say.
We're in a world where women are fighting for more rights then we have. Remember 1920 when we won our rights in the first place? That was epic! We do deserve to vote, and to have the same kind of jobs and all that. But let me ask you, is this battle of being EXACTLY like men a good idea? Just think about it, even now, some women say that men are useless, we don't need them, we can do everything ourselves.
We all have our own roles in the world, and each role is VERY important. Us women? We can have all the children, which is kind of important. We're STRONG in that role, we can do it without fail almost every time. We're good at so many things, don't step into the role of a man, then who's going to do all that stuff?
Men are in charge of protecting and going to war, and working on the houses. And they're GOOD at it. It's their thing! Just think about a world without men right now. Just THINK about it. Go on, do it.
Yeah...kind of scary right? They're important. As are us women, we're important too. Now imagine a world without women.
Oy.
And I'm not saying that we should go back in time when we had like no rights at all, because we do deserve them. I'm saying that we should just be happy with what we've reached, we should be PROUD of where we are. Not wanting more and more and more and more, until there isn't anything left for the guys to do.
Guys need their jobs, come on ladies. We all need each other. They couldn't do stuff without us either!
I often think of how scary it would be if there was more then just two genders, like...it would insane how everyone would want to be EXACTLY equal with each other, we'd never get anywhere.
I think, that most feminists (as they like to call themselves) are hanging out with the wrong guys, the guys that DO treat them like crap, and that's why they want to show just how much we don't need guys. You know, all the guys I know, are respectful to me. And you know what I love? Having a guy offer to carry something for me, open the door for me, they're not doing it say that I can't do it myself, that I'm weak.
They want to be nice, they want to take on the job so we don't want to do it. It's simple. They WANT to help us out. And we could help them out too! I love helping my dad do projects around the house, I admit it, I'm not good at lifting things and playing sports, I'm not strong, but I can hand my dad some screws and a hammer, right? It's just a nice way of saying: "Hey, I want to help you out, so I'm doing it in a way I know how" And if you're good at the things I'm done, that's great! It's where you're strong at, but don't try to completely shove the men out of the picture.
As Matt said in that article up there, they're fixing the draft and the physical requirement for women, in the army, so that women can get in easier. That's scary, I don't want to go to war where I might not come back. If both genders are pulled away, who's going to stay home and work? Who's going to take care of the kids? All this just so that we're all equal? Hardly seems fair to me.
(and what's with wanting strong female characters IN ALL THE MOVIES nowadays? You know what, I'm not even going to get into that.)
(and what's with wanting strong female characters IN ALL THE MOVIES nowadays? You know what, I'm not even going to get into that.)
Just think about this, just think about what we're trying to get, here.
Ok, whew. I'm done with being deep today. I just ate a donut, donuts are good.

But baby it's cold outside...
It's been so cold around here. I've been carrying around a corn cuddler with me everywhere I go, and heating up when it becomes cold. I've also worn a hat and scarf in the house. (I didn't go as far to like...where gloves or anything, but I've thought about it, my poor fingers get cold easy, and it's hard to write when you can't feel your fingers) I also played some Just Dance, which after I was done, I was cold a few moments later. It doesn't long, sadly...
Behold the temperature around here:
It's -21 with the wind with it. My mom went to take the dog out, and she said when the wind hit her forehead, (the only part of her exposed to the horrible coldness) she got a headache like she got a brain freeze. (or a brain sneeze, as Si says)
Ok, so I like winter, I'd rather be cold then hot. When you're cold, there's easy ways to get warm, blankets, socks, gloves, hats, jackets, etc.
BUT THIS WEATHER IS RIDICULOUS.
So just stay in your houses, and be warm, ok? I highly recommend corn cuddlers. A+ to them.

Driving School Day #1
Today was my first day of driving school. Every Sunday, for six weeks, I have to sit in a classroom for four hours. I thought it would be terrible, like, wasting my day when I could be doing other things, but it wasn't that bad.
The teacher was really nice, he was loud and talkative, kept us interested. He knew how to keep teenagers interested in what he had to say.
But the whole classroom, aside from me, and my two friends, no one else talked, unless he asked them a direct question, so everything was kind of awkward and quiet most of the time. But it was still fun, and he didn't mind when people asked questions, or laughed, or chewed gum. (thank goodness) we couldn't use cellphones, but I didn't mind.
I wouldn't say it was the best thing I had ever done, but I think I can tolerate it for five more weeks. Hopefully...he tried to scare us all out of wanting a licence, I can say I was a bit scared about all these people who died. And I can't say I agreed when it said that a seventeen year old has a better chance of not getting into an accident then a sixteen year old does. What if the seventeen year old just got their permit? What if the sixteen year old has had it for longer than that? I didn't see that was fair, but I didn't get to say my point, but it was fine, because we moved on. And we all agreed that we were inexperienced drivers, and we weren't good. He even admitted that he wasn't the best driver. Because no one is perfect. The end. I liked my teacher, we only have him for one more week, then we get a different guy. I'm hoping the other guy is cool too.
Also, my homework assignments are:
1. To write down everything my parents do wrong.
2. Draw out the car I'm taking my driver's test in, and knowing where all the parts are.
My mom kept asking me what I was doing while she drove. (hehe)
I hope everyone had a great Sunday! Even if school gets called off here, I'm still doing school. Bleh.

New Member of the Clan!
Today, I got the other thing that I bought with my Christmas money!
STITCH THE BACKPACK!
Awesome, right?
Eddie and Goober weren't sure what the heck this thing was.
They decided to try and sonic it to open it, Eddie thought the Tenth Doctor's sonic would do the job
Goober though the Eleventh's when the Tenth's failed
Then Eddie discovered something! *Gasp* a zipper!
It opens!!
Mission successful!

(apparently, sonics don't do zippers)
He's my new purse now, sadly I had to remove the stuffing inside Stitch's head, because there wasn't enough room in it to stash stuff, so he's a little deflated now, but he's fine. Just a little light headed. (ah, that was a bad pun) I stitched up the hole. (even worse)
I hope everyone had a great Saturday!
